YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

Joh 3:1  Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
Joh 3:3  Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus was a Pharisee. He was a religious person. He observed the ceremonial law, the moral law, and the civil law. He attended church, he paid tithes, he sang gospel music, he did not commit crime, he did not commit adultery, he fought for human rights, and he stood for justice. But Nicodemus could neither see nor enter the kingdom of God. Unless a person is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

To be born again is to be born from above. The first birth, physical birth, is our mode of entrance into the earthly kingdom. The second birth, spiritual birth, is our mode of entrance into the heavenly kingdom. You are born once, the first time, in order for you to enter this world; but you need to be born again, the second time, in order for you to enter the heavenly kingdom. Unless a person is born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

It doesn’t matter how good you are, it doesn’t matter how loving you are, it doesn’t matter how caring you are, it doesn’t matter how generous you are, it doesn’t matter how ethical you are, it doesn’t matter how democratic you are, it doesn’t matter how fair you are, it doesn’t matter how sexually pure you are, it doesn’t matter how religious you are – if you are not born again, you will neither see nor enter the kingdom of God.

You need to be born again. Acknowledge that you are a sinner, repent from your sin, and then invite Jesus Christ into your heart as your Savor and Lord.

YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. From Paulos Moloi. Stay blessed.
