Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
The Israelites lived under oppression for many years in Egypt but God delivered them through his servant Moses. The whole world is fighting for human rights. Some people gain their rights by oppressing others and it is chaos. We can agree that where there are people there is oppression and people are actively seeking freedom.
But true freedom is found in Christ. The Bible in Galatians says the human right to freedom that people today are fighting for is actually available. Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood and you were saved from eternal death. So you are free! There is however a warning you should not use your freedom to indulge the flesh. It is everyone’s right to be served and let us serve one another.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for calling me to freedom, I pray that I will not abuse it but will love, care and serve my fellow brothers and sisters in Jesus’s name, amen.
