Collect all the blessings for your journey
For a long journey or for a big task at hand you need all the blessings you can possible receive. Blessings are a special approval and support that you can receive from God and from people. While some blessing may come by act of luck, most of them are earned. When you do the right things the right way, you will earn the approval and support of God and people. Abram fought and won the battles, saves lives of the people of God, then he earn the blessings of Melchizedek king of Salem.
You need the blessings of your parents, both biological and spiritual parents. You also need blessings or approval of other key persons in society. In order to receive these blessings/approval, you need to make these people happy, or make them to smile with what you do. In this way you can collect all the blessings for your journey.
Gen 14:18-20 Says “And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was priest of God Most High.) (19) And he blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; (20) and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand!” And Abram gave him a tenth of everything.”
