Stand for the righteous living.

What do you do when it seems that your effort, hard work, and life of integrity amounts to nothing? Have you seen a situation where it seems that wicked people are more successful than good people?

There are times in life when it seems that maintaining good ethics and integrity does not pay. In fact it looks like those who are corrupt are more successful in their business than those who are good. It looks like maintaining integrity is foolish as it does not pay the bills. Wicked people are quick to tell you that God will never answer your prayers when you have been going to them to ask for help. I believe that the leader of the church of Ephesus was experiencing this kind of situation. And the Lord Jesus sent a message to him. In the letter, the Lord confirms that He knew what this leader was going through.

The message to the leader of Ephesus also applies to you. God knows what you are going through. Even though you have been going through a lot of hardship, and your prayers seems to be going unanswered for quite a long time, the Lord knows it all. The Lord knows your pains, your tears, your hard work, even your effort in standing for righteousness. Do not give up now, for the Lord knows, your reward is much closer than you can think. Stand for the righteous living.

Rev 2:2-3 “‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. (3) I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary.”

Stand for the righteous living. From Simtandile Dlepuma. Stay blessed.
