Peace be with you
Job 19v25 I know that my redeemer[a] lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
This Scripture is usually shared with families who have lost their loved ones. Understandable so, Job lost, not just one he loved but all his children, servants and his possessions. He also lost his wife and friends though they were alive. They turned against him and he experienced loneliness and suffered alone.
The Bible says Job was blameless and upright, he feared God and abstained from evil (Job 1:1) yet he experienced terrible and painful loss in his life. This teaches us that believers and righteous people also experience darkness. Jesus committed no sin yet he died a painful and embarrassing death. I am sure you have seen people who are righteous in your eyes who go through the dark night in their life. But through all this there is power in knowing, knowing that there is a Redeemer.
When you know that your Redeemer lives and that in the end He will stand on the earth you will not turn away from God 1) when all you have is taken away. 2) When your friends and people you trusted turn against you 3) When you know that God has a hedge around you. 4) When you know that God allowed the devil to attack you 5) When you know God is in control and has a plan for you, the plan to prosper you. He never sleeps nor slumber (Psalms 121:4) Even when you are going through the toughest test of life His eye is over you.
Knowing drives away fear. Join me in singing the song…” because He lives I can face tomorrow… all fear is gone….yes I know He holds the future… and life is worth the living just because He lives”
God bless you
