1 Corinthians 3v10 “By the grace of God given to me, I laid the foundation as an expert builder and someone else is building on it. But each should be careful how he builds” (NIV)
Greetings in the name wonderful name of our Lord Jesus.
When a person says be careful it might mean, there are things that might disturb you. What you build will be checked through tests to prove the quality of your building. Let me say be careful how you build your life, for the test of life can come at any time.
I see when people build the house, sometimes they take a moment and go afar to check if what they are building is still what they planned from the beginning. They will check if the walls are straight, sometimes use the Spirit-Level tool to verify if their eyes aren’t lying.
We do have God’s word as a tool to check if our lives are still straight. We do have our leaders to guide or advise us where we missed the curve so we can come back. In our busy schedule let’s keep on using these tools to avoid continuing building in vain, where our building will look good, tall but not strong.
Build your life in a way that will stand the test of time. It will survive four season of life, it will be able to function well in winter, summer, autumn and spring of life. Build your life in a way that it rather be shaken and stand, than a house that falls even when it is not shaken.
Choose today to check the material you use to build your life. Don’t let your life be built on faith boosting materials, things that keep changing and expire, tangible things like waters, oils, cloth, salt etc. Use the Word, for the Bible says in Luke 21v33 [Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.]
Mercy on you.
