YOU ARE BLESSED BY GOD
Luke 24:30
30 When he was at the table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them.
After God has chosen and separated you for Himself, after you have experienced loneliness and rejection – God blesses you! You have been redeemed out of the curse of the law – the blessing of Abraham has come upon you – you have received the Holy Spirit (Gal 3:13–14). God has blessed you in Christ with every spiritual blessing (Eph 1:3). You are blessed in the city, you are blessed in the field – you blessed when you come in, you are blessed when you go out (Deut 28: 3–6). You are blessed!
The material things we crave can never bring us a blessing. True blessing can only be found in a relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. The blessing of God is a spiritual state of well-being and prosperity—deep, joy-filled contentment that cannot be shaken by poverty, grief, famine, persecution, or any other tragedy we face in life.
A blessed person will persevere under trials and persecutions (James 1:12). The blessing of God will cause you to be victorious in trials and persecutions. The blessing of God will cause you to prosper in life. No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment (Isaiah 54:17). You are blessed!
Because of Christ’s work of redemption on the cross, you have received the full blessings of God through faith in Him. You are blessed because your sins are forgiven, you are blessed because your sins can no longer be counted against you (Psalms 32:1–2). There is no curse against you, there is no condemnation against you (Romans 8:1). There is nothing you can do today to make God love you more, and there’s nothing you can do to make Him love you any less. Child of God, walk with boldness.
