*Turn to God for answers*

What are the common actions that you take when you need some help urgently? Maybe you are sick, or you urgently need some money to attend to an emergency situation, what are the steps that you take? The common action is to turn to people and ask for their assistance. In as much as turning to people for help in times of need is common, God assures to answer you with good things if you turn to him. It is true that God’s answer is not always in the manner that you expect, but it is always the best answer for you now and for your future.

When Daniel’s friends refused to bow to the statue of the king in Babylon, they were threatening by being thrown into the fire (you can read Daniel 3 to get the full story). Their prayers for salvation was not given in the manner that people could expect as they were thrown into the fire, but the son of God join them in the fire such that the fire could not harm them. The end result of the story is that they were save in the fire after going through it, and the King promoted them and glorified their God. God answered their prayers by giving them good things that were more than what they expected. They wanted salvation, they got it and also got promotion.

God might allow you to go through fires as he prepares to answer your prayers. His answer might be saying yes but not now, not here, not with these people, and not in this way. *Turn to God for answers, and be prepared to get God’s answers to your prayers in His ways*.

The bible in Matthew 7:7-11 ESV (7) says “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. (8)  For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. (9)  Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? (10)  Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? (11)  If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!”
