How many things did you start, but stop pursuing them later?
Many people start pursuing good projects but stop on the way before achieving their goals because of the troubles and hardships that they come across. Troubles and hardships exert pressure such that a person might give up on what he is pursuing or change his ways towards ungodly behavior. Like an athlete who goes through a lot of exercise and hardship before the actual race, like the farmer who goes through challenges of droughts or floods all success comes after heavy challenges and troubles.
In as much as our nature is to have a life without troubles, no success can come without going through some troubles. The unfortunate thing is that the size of the success will determine the size of troubles that you will face. All who achieve great success go through great troubles first. These troubles will kill others, force others to compromise and give up, and only a few people will obtain their success. Prayer cannot stop troubles from coming your way, but the Lord can give you courage and wisdom to overcome them. For you to succeed you need to remain faithful or steadfast in the midst of your troubles. Those who endure and remain faithful in the midst of troubles will be blessed and obtain a reward from the Lord.
See what the scripture says in
James 1:12 ESV (12) “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”
*Remain faithful in the midst of troubles*. From Simtandile Dlepuma. Stay blessed.
