The bible records that every good gift and every perfect gift comes from God (James 1:17). Although God does not bring trials in believers’ life, he gives you the strength to overcome them. Those who remain faithful after trials become better persons with steadfastness. Steadfastness is a good gift from God and makes you be perfect lacking nothing (James 1:4, Matt. 7:11).
In fact, Pauls when encouraging believers about trials and temptations, state that God has a way of making everything work for good for those who love him (Romans 8:28). He further states that God will never allow temptations that are beyond your strength to overcome you, but he will give you the ability to win on each occasion (1 Corinthians 10:13). Each temptation presents an opportunity to get the perfect gift from God.
Some trials and troubles in your life may open your mind to the challenges that the rest of the people face, and how God wants to use you to save them. It might be after going through them that you might understand better what God wants to do for his people. God has allowed these in your life because he can teach you through them. You need to be assured that you are very important to God, and he wants to use every pain in your life for something better. It is because of his love for you that he has allowed some hardship and troubles to come.
See what the scripture says in
James 1:16-18 ESV (16) “Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. (17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (18) Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”
