When God asks Cain the whereabouts of his brother Abel, his response was he did not know as he was not his brother’s keeper (Genesis 4:9). This was his response even though he knew that he had killed his brother. What do you do when you see your brother getting into trouble, or falling into sin? Do you see it as none of your business?
Loving and caring compel us to care about the spiritual conditions of others. Sometimes trying to correct someone might be dangerous to you, however, we still need to love and care to an extent of correcting them when they fall into sin. Our act of advising, correcting might save the person and many others from sin and death. You should love and care enough for other people in order to save their souls.
See what the scripture says in
Jas 5:19-20 ESV (19) “My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, (20) let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.”
*Become your brother’s keeper and care enough to save souls*.
