*The Power of the enemy was broken*

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring  and hers; he will crush  your head, and you will strike his heel.”

Genesis 3 tells a story about the fall of men. One day the serpent approached the Garden of Eden and had a conversation with Even. Following their conversation, Eve ate the fruit in the middle of the Garden. After a conversation with her husband Adam, he also ate the fruit.  After that, we hear of a conversation between God, Adam, Eve, and a serpent. God announced a punishment on human beings and a curse on the serpent.

Despite the disappointment God had over Adam and Eve’s action He maintained His word in Genesis 1:26-28 that humans must have dominion over all living beings.  God broke the power of the enemy and restored human life through the death of Jesus Christ and His resurrection. But remember the devil still prowls around like a lion looking for anyone he may devour. He still lies and is very deceitful.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to always realize devils lies and deceit which come in many different shapes and forms. Give me the strength to refuse to yield to such in Jesus’s name, amen.
