Daily in our lives, we need tools shaped in a specific way in order to perform certain duties. It is quite frustrating to have a star screwdriver when you need a flat one.
You also are a vessel that God uses in his kingdom. What shapes you to be the right vessel is spending time in the presence of God, reading the His Word, and praying. If you obey His commandments and do His will you will fulfill God’s plan for your life. Your own mind’s wishes and plans sometimes interfere with God’s plan which results in delays in the fulfillment of his work. However, if you seek to cleanse yourself every day God will use you.
Prayer: Lord God I want to be a vessel ready to be used by you always, make me a useful vessel in your house. Amen.
