Prepare for the valleys and for the hills
All long distance runners knows something common for all races that they run, that is if you are in the valley, there is still a hill coming, if you are on the up slope, there is a down slope that is coming. Some even reserve their energy during the down valley for the uphill. Abram story changed drastically, when he left the Promised Land to Egypt, the story which was told was that of a severe famine, but when he came back, the story which was told was that he was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.
For your story to be complete, it should not only end in the valley or up the hill. Setbacks in life have a tendencies to destroy some upcoming dreamers, while it propels others to greatness. Your story is not complete when it talks about your successes without talking about your failures, when it talks about your good days without talking about bad days. You don’t have to die in your times of valleys but you should arise from the valley to greatness.
Gen 12:10 Says “Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.”
And
Gen 13:2 Says “Now Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.”
Prepare for the valleys and for the hills. From Simtandile Dlepuma. Stay blessed.
