God lives in your season

Peace be with you

Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

A friend of mine and her husband planted the church in their home town. She was excited and assumed a role of being a co-leader in the church. But sadly her husband passed on. She lost a leader, a friend, a father and a husband. She felt that her dreams were shuttered. She was going through a season and God was with her.

In life we have goals that we want to achieve. When we have identified them we put plan in place in order to accomplish our goals. This helps us look forward in life; it shapes our behaviors and helps us focus. This however does not guarantee than things will always go as we wish and plan. Life does take a sharp turn that seems to throw us out of the ring.

In an unfavorable season you need to remember that 1) God is ever present, 2) the same way He moved in the darkness and over the water (Genesis 1:1) He is moving in your dark situation. 3) God spoke and said let there be light (Gen. 1:2) and to date he speaks light in your life. 4) Mary and Martha sent a word to Jesus to inform him that their brother Lazarus was sick (John 11:3), you need to send a word to Jesus about your situation. Remember you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37-39)

Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Remember God is ever present and he lives in your season.

God bless you

  1. Lord help me to know my season. Give me the wisdom to act appropriately when my season has come, and the courage to press past the hardships that accompany my season. Amen.
