Peace be with you
John 4 13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Water is an important element of our daily living. Amongst many of the benefits, water flushes bacteria from the bladder, aids in digestion; regulates body temperature, etc. The body does not fully function without adequate water. Other beverages like juices, alcohol, and coffee will provide fluid but some of its content is toxic to the body.
The above Scripture tells a story of a Samaritan woman who met Jesus in the well. The Bible Scholars inform that the Samaritan woman only fetched water in the middle of the day when it was extremely hot in order to avoid contact with other women (who fetched water in the morning or in the afternoon when it was not too hot). She was embarrassed because of her unacceptable behavior in the community.
Jesus asked her to give Him water, she did not instead, they engaged in a discussion that eventually led to her receiving The Living Waters. She forgot her limitation, fear, and shame in the community and ran to tell them about the Messiah. Her life was changed and her community received salvation through her.
This is your life as a Christian when you receive The Living Waters, live to tell the people about The Living Waters. Let your life reflect that within you flows the fountain that gives eternal life. Run away from other fluids that could be toxic. As you need natural water, live your life to reflect that you will never thirst because you received The Living Waters.
