Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
YOU ARE GIVEN TO THE WORLD BY GOD
30 When he was at the table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them.
After Jesus has broken the bread, He gave it for others to eat. After God has broken you, He gives you to the world, that the world may benefit from your ministry. God will break you before He uses you. God will never use you until you are broken. People who are broken do not develop pride when God uses them. Therefore, God will humble you before He uses you. God opposes the proud, but He gives grace to the humble. Therefore, humble yourselves, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you (1 Pet 5:5).
Yes, God will use you; But God will also give you a thorn in your flesh to keep you from becoming proud (2 Cor 12:7). God could have used Abraham when he was still young – but God waited until Abraham was too old. Old age was a thorn in Abraham’s flesh to humble him. Sarah was barren and then God used her. Joseph was abused and then God used him. Job went bankrupt and then God used him. Leah was ugly and then God used her. Moses had a stuttering problem and then God used him. Naomi was a widow and then God used her. Rahab was a former prostitute and then God used her. The Samaritan woman was divorced and then God used her. Mary was pregnant before marriage and then God used her.
Your brokenness is not there to prevent you from being used by God; your brokenness is proof that you are ready to be used by God. You are ready to be given to the world. God uses broken people. God does not use the qualified, He qualifies the unqualified. No matter what you’ve been through in life, the same power that resurrected Jesus from the grave lives within you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philp 4:13).
YOU ARE GIVEN TO THE WORLD BY GOD.
