The knowledge that a person have is supposed to help him as he navigates through life. Unfortunately, people do not always use their knowledge to their advantage. Someone might know the dangers of doing something and yet he continues to do it and becomes the victim. I know a person who was diagnosed with cancer, he was advised by the doctors to stop smoking, but he did not stop. This person then died a year later. There is a belief that if he had stopped smoking as advised by the doctors, he would have lived longer. His knowledge of the dangers that smoking was causing in him did not help him as he did not stop smoking.
*How many times do you find yourself not doing what you are supposed to do, or doing what you know you should not do?* Your knowledge is the light inside you. If your knowledge is not helping you to take the right action, your light is like great darkness in you. Jesus provided guidance on what you should do in order to have riches in heaven, if you do not take his instruction, you are in danger of heavenly poverty. That means what you heard, saw, and what you knew did not help you.
*Let your eyes be the light in you, use your knowledge for your advantage*.
Mat 6:22-23 CEV (22) Your eyes are like a window for your body. When they are good, you have all the light you need. (23) But when your eyes are bad, everything is dark. If the light inside you is dark, you surely are in the dark.
Use your knowledge to your advantage.
