Psalms 1: 2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
The researchers found that amongst the deeply rooted trees is an oak tree. Its roots do not only go deep down but wide. It can live for more than 1000 years. The oak can withstand incredibly strong storms. Even when they are stripped of their leaves, oak trees survive because of their strength, their curvy branches, and their incredible root systems. The lesson I am learning about the trees is that the deeper their roots the stronger the tree in order to withstand strong winds and storms of life, and the more fruit-bearing or prosperous.
As Christian, when we get rooted to God by reading and practicing His Word we will survive all temptations coming our way. Joshua 1:8 Never stop speaking about this Instruction scroll. Recite it day and night so you can carefully obey everything written in it. Then you will accomplish your objectives and you will succeed.
Take time and challenge yourself this year,
1) to be rooted in God by reading your Bible every day.
2) Make sure people around you benefit from the fruit you produce. Challenges will come your way but go deeper and get closer to God, you will survive all storms of life.
3) Track and trace success and prosperity in your life. That is the benefit of getting closure to God.
God bless you
