Trials are hardship that comes in people’s lives may come in different ways and are uninvited.
*1*. Hardship may come as a result of the devil’s attack on your life.
*2*. Some hardship may also come because of your own mistakes when you did not do what you were supposed to do or you did what you were not supposed to do.
*3*. Hardship may also come from unfortunate circumstances, like a farmer experiencing drought or flood that has some devastating impact on his business, or just when you lack money to do what you wanted to do, or you can’t get the job you want.
*4*. Some hardship comes because people are reacting to the perceived negative way you dealt with them in the past. If people think you hate them, you don’t appreciate what they do or you are always opposing what they do with no reason, they will react to you in the same way and oppose what you do.
*5*. Some hardship might still come as a result of people opposing you because of your faith, economic status, or because they undermine you and think you are not worthy of what you are doing.
Regardless of the source and the type of hardship you are experiencing, you can still become a better person from each of them. It is the choices and decisions you make when facing hardship that determines the person you will become after. You can die from hardship or you can come out as a stronger person. Take each hardship as a test that is building you into a mature and complete individual. I used the term hardship in place of trial or temptations for simplicity purposes. You can become a better person from each hardship you are going through when you make the right decisions.
See James advise in James 1:2-4 ESV (2) “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, (3) for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. (4) And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
*Becoming a better person from hardship or trials*.
