*You need God’s approval*

The word righteous is associated with meanings like good, blameless, virtuous, and just. A good person is loved by those who regard him as good. God approves and accepts those people he regards them as righteous and provides his blessings upon them. You need God’s approval in order to receive his blessings.

While people may regard you as good based on what you do, the righteousness of God is achieved by having faith in God. It is by faith that you can please God and not by what you do and do not do. To have faith is to be sure of things you hope for and to be certain for things not seen (Hebrews 11:1,6). If you lack faith, you can ask God to help you.

See what the scripture says in

Gal 3:6-9 GNB (6)  “Consider the experience of Abraham; as the scripture says, “He believed God, and because of his faith God accepted him as righteous.” (7)  You should realize, then, that the real descendants of Abraham are the people who have faith. (8)  The scripture predicted that God would put the Gentiles right with himself through faith. And so the scripture announced the Good News to Abraham: “Through you, God will bless all people.” (9)  Abraham believed and was blessed; so all who believe are blessed as he was.”

*You need God’s approval*.
