Abraham had two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. Isaac was born as per the promise God made to Abraham, while Ishmael was born in a usual way. As both were the sons of Abraham, they had many things in common, but their origin and their destinations differ.
You might look the same with people around you, but remember you are the child of God. You don’t have to behave and do things like everybody else. You have to represent God as a child of the promise. You are the child of the promise because God promised Abraham that all the nations of the earth would be blessed through him. Don’t be surprised when the world hates or persecutes you. You have to live and behave like a child of the promise.

Gal 4:28-29 GNB (28) Now, you, my friends, are God’s children as a result of his promise, just as Isaac was. (29) At that time the son who was born in the usual way persecuted the one who was born because of God’s Spirit, and it is the same now.
You are the child of the promise.
