Revelation 3: 19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent
Revelations 2 and 3 were written to seven different churches. They received salvation and were known with good deeds but they had been found having adopted some behaviors which were not pleasing in God’s sight.
God’s original plan about mankind was perfect until deception in the Garden of Eden. The world has ever since been broken, however, God’s love never ceases to rescue us. When you accept Jesus Christ you begin to experience the full purpose of God with your life. However, the sin that entangles will always crop in. Hence you need to continually repent.
Our loving God will never keep quiet and leave you to go astray but the decision remains with you to listen to his correction. In Rev 2: 23 … I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
Prayer: Heavenly Father I have preached to many people who received your Word and repented, I am known all over as your child, help me to repent when You point out my shortfall, I pray, amen.
