Service the need to the fullest

Rebekah met a stranger by the well of water. When the stranger requested a little water to drink, she gave water for him to drink, and went further to draw water for the 10 Camels that were with the stranger until all the Camels were satisfied. Thirsty Camels are known for drinking 200 litres of water each in 3 minutes. Giving water to a Camel demands a lot of effort.

How do you serve and help those in need? Rebekah was not requested to provide water for the Camels, but saw the need. Servicing the need demanded more effort as Camels were many and needing more water, but she did it with passion. In whatever you do you need to go an extra mile in making sure that the need is satisfied to the fullest. Don’t settle for just doing your job, you need to go an extra mile in servicing the need to the fullest. If you do your work this way, great rewards are awaiting for you.

Gen 24:17-19 Says “Then the servant ran to meet her and said, “Please give me a little water to drink from your jar.” (18) She said, “Drink, my lord.” And she quickly let down her jar upon her hand and gave him a drink. (19) When she had finished giving him a drink, she said, “I will draw water for your camels also, until they have finished drinking.” “
