Know what you know and know your God

When Abraham died at the age of 175, the author of the book of Genesis described his life as “good old age” as well as “old and satisfied”, and he was buried at the site that he bought. This is the person who left his home country in obedience to God’s call. This is the same man who waited for a promised child for more than 30 years. Abraham experience a number of challenges in his life, in that at some point he left the Promised Land to Egypt because of drought and came back again.

Even when the promises were seemingly taking too long to be fulfilled, Abraham trusted and knew the God who called him. When going through delays in receiving your breakthrough, and when the journey seems to be too long, it is easy to start doubting what you know, panic start coming in. Avoid doing things out of panic, pressure and emergency, you need to know what you know and stick to it. You need to know what you know and know your God. Then at the end your will be satisfied.

Gen 25:8-10 Says “And Abraham expired and died in a good old age, old and satisfied. And he was gathered to his people. (9) And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre, (10) the field which Abraham bought from the sons of Heth.
