Do you sometimes make a decision to be polite when talking to someone, but find yourself having acted rudely?
Some people are more difficult to deal with and some issues are even harder to resolve, yet everything can still be resolved through the power of the tongue. It does happen that we find ourselves having acted in the opposite way of what we wanted to do. There might also be people we think, it’s not necessary to talk to them because they will never change. Sometimes it is your previous behaviour that had made people to treat you the way they do. How do you convince them that you have changed, and they should stop treating you this way?
The best way to handle these issues is by practising the skills of observation, interpretation and stating your story. You need to start slowly and plan your conversation. Take initiatives, organize session with the person you have issues with, and state your case in a respectful way. You might not get it right the first time, but don’t give up. In this way you will be training and taming your tongue create greatness even in tough times. The more you practise and train your tongue, the more it will become natural to do it.
Jas 3:10-12 Says “From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. (11) Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? (12) Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water.”
Train your tongue to create greatness. From Simtandile Dlepuma. Stay blessed.
