Peace be with you
Ezekiel 37:1-2 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.
Every structure in the Society has hierarchy, this is important in order to bring order. We appreciate the system and are happy to follow our leaders. However earthly leaders are limited to what they can do for us. Some disappoint us, lead us astray and others abuse us. Some people lose what they have because of poor leadership.
In Ezekiel 37 we read that he was led into a valley where there were dry bones, this must have been scary. Matthew 4:1 says Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil. Genesis 12 tells us that Abraham was told by God to leave his country to where He would show him. There are many stories in the Bible where people were led by the Holy Spirit to somewhat not pleasant places. They went through difficulties but the best outcomes were witnessed.
The world situation currently is very challenging; we experience pandemic, recession, unrest, etc. You could be going through troubles and trials, your situation might look as bad as the dry bones, but if you allow God to lead you, you can be sure to come out a conqueror. Your end will be better than the beginning as the Bible says in Romans 8:28. God promised not to leave nor forsake you.
“Where He leads me I will follow” the writer of this song had full trust to the person leading him. It sounds like he says he doesn’t care where but he will follow. This is the attitude you should adopt.
May God bless you as you allow Him to lead you.
