Embrace the children and build nations

The story of Jacob and his wives in the bible is not a beautiful one, yet God build the 12 tribes of the nation of Israel from his seeds. When Jacob wanted to get married to Rachel, he was given Leah, and he ended up having two wives who were sisters. From there Rachel who was barren envied her sister Leah who had children. Rachel then gave her made servant to her husband in order to have children through her, Leah also did the same. The battle of the two women continued in that family that resulted in Jacob having 12 sons from the four women. God used this ugly story to build the nations that he had promised to Abraham and Isaak.
I must confess from here that I am the husband to one wife and I have four children all from my wife. My wife also has no child beside the children we have together. I do not support polygamy and any extra marital affairs. While I do not condone any sinful marital behaviour, I think we need to embrace children that are born out of wedlock. No child should be punished or held responsible for how he or she was brought to life. If we hate children of our spouses we are planting a seed of hatred for the future generations, but if we embrace them we might be building great families for the future. Do not lead the children of your spouse to criminality by withholding love and support from them. You need to love, care, and nurture and support them as your own children. By doing that you are planting a seed of greatness for the future generations.
The bible inGenesis 30:1-6 ESV Says “When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, she envied her sister. She said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I shall die!” (2)  Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?” (3)  Then she said, “Here is my servant Bilhah; go in to her, so that she may give birth on my behalf, that even I may have children through her.” (4)  So she gave him her servant Bilhah as a wife, and Jacob went in to her. (5)  And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son. (6)  Then Rachel said, “God has judged me, and has also heard my voice and given me a son.” Therefore she called his name Dan.”
