*RISE ABOVE YOUR FEARS*

Luke 4: 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

At the beginning of His ministry, Jesus Christ according to Luke, read the book of the prophet Isaiah. He read the above verse and told the people that the Scripture was fulfilled. Jesus performed all of the above miracles and more. He however experienced a lot of intimidation in his ministry. He was rejected by His own people, the Pharisees and Sadducees always planned to prove him wrong. But he did not deviate from the purpose of His existence on earth. He refused to allow intimidation and fear to overpower Him.

Past failures are likely to develop fear in you. Do not give your fears and failures a permanent title. Have a conversation with your fear and put it where it belongs. Failure must not cripple you but use it as an opportunity for a new start. Jeremiah 1:15 tells us that God appointed him before he was born. When God created you He had a purpose in His mind. Your existence is not a mistake.

Now we know that you are saved so that you will fulfill the great commission. Fear will stop you from sharing the Good News and people that are supposed to be delivered through you will remain in the darkness. Make it your resolution to rise above your fear and do what you are called for.

God bless you
