The scriptures in Hebrews 11:6 state that no one can please God without faith. God interacts with those people who have faith in him by talking to them. These people must be able to hear the voice of God, believe his word, and obey his instruction.
It is not always necessary for a person to tell others what God told him, but it is always a requirement to do everything God told you to do. Obeying God and doing what he tells you to do when it is not easy makes you experience and know him differently. Abraham obeyed God when he was instructed to sacrifice Isaac, and there he experiences God as a provider. The prostitute agreed to hide the spies of Israel and she experience God as the savior. It is in faith and obedience that the power of God will be manifested in your life. Obeying God when the stake is high, circumstances are difficult proves the faith you have in him. Can you trust God under life-threatening circumstances? Those with Faith in God will never be disappointed.
See what the scripture says in
James 2:20-26 ESV (20) “Do you want to be shown, you foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless? (21) Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? (22) You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works; (23) and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God. (24) You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. (25) And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? (26) For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.”
