*Surrender your will to God*

Personal ambitions, dreams for the future drives people’s actions on daily basis. Children go to school, parents go to work, and business people operate their business in order to make their future better. When you get employed, an employer dictates at least the outcomes you need to produce, and that may affect where you stay, what you do, and when you should start working.

When Paul became a Christian, the agenda of his life changed completely. His ambition, dreams, and goals were destroyed. He embrace a new life in Christ which dictated what he should do, and where he should be. This means death to his old personal life and new life in Christ. Just like with Paul, Christ died for you so that the life you now live should be the life that pleases God. You, therefore, need to surrender all your plans and dreams to God and live by faith in him.

See what the scripture says in

Gal 2:19-21 ESV (19)  “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live to God. (20)  I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (21)  I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.”
